We are often tricked into thinking diseases are symptoms. Or that symptoms are diseases. Doctors give us their best educated guesses, and we assume that education is complete, objective, and accurate.

But in the end, our bodies know the truth. We _know_ when something’s wrong. Somewhere along the lines we’ve lost the ability to hear what it’s trying to tell us.

I wish you relief. Simply knowing, truly, the underlying cause of a problem can bring such hope. But I wish you relief both from the pain, and the frustration of having suffered from it so long.
