There are so many why-the-whys on tv, but the one that keeps me up at night is Bewitched. Sure I'm dating myself, but I didn't notice until the show went into endless reruns more recently, that they just randomly swapped out both Darren and Gladys Kravitz.

I know Dick York had some serious health issues and they brought Dick Sargent in. Not sure what happened to Alice Pearce, and I ended up liking Sandra Gould just as much.

But in a show about magic, how did they miss the opportunity to switch out the actors??? I mean Endora was all over those kinds of shenanigans. Why didn't she magically swap them?
