Heaton says that by denying Tim Allen the role, they have effectively stolen the identity of such a recognizable and ingrained portrayal. And in doing so, have harmed Allen’s career and reputation. Or castrated him/his career.

Linking this comment to the LGBTQ controversy is inciting reaction where none was likely intended nor should be insinuated. But you’re entitled to your opinion as well.
