If you could fly but were at risk of crashing to your death one flight out of every hundred, you’d be concerned. If flying meant that you would likely lose your job, lose any future opportunity for advancement, take on debt from which you will likely never recover, lose a year of your life while your body morphs into one that _maybe_ can fly, but will never look, feel, or work as efficiently as it did before, you would at least want to be able to make the decision for yourself as to whether or not you actually fly. You would want to make the decision as to whether the risk is worth the reward.

If, knowing all of that, some stranger decided that you have no choice but to fly, despite the fact that walking works perfectly well for you, you would resent that stranger’s right to control you over you your right to control yourself.

So take your wings and go do what you’re gonna do. Because I have no wings, and I have no claim to your wings, it is therefore NONE of my business what you do.
