I don't understand the standard over-reaction of crying for someone's resignation or cancelling them altogether when they shit the bed.

If anything, we should be insisting on 100% accountability. You don't get to go home and hide in a corner til it's safe to poke your head out again. You have to stand up, take your licks, and fix the damn problem.

Apologies, lessons, restitution. Recovery. Forgiveness.

Sweeping the problem under the rug doesn't solve anything.
